Senior Accountant - India

Seeking a full-time Senior Accountant - India to manage day-to-day accounting and finance tasks for clients in the Enterprise division while working remotely, ensuring accurate transactional duties, payroll processing, and financial reporting. Key responsibilities: Handle daily operations including transaction entry, invoicing, bill payments, payroll preparation, journal entries, and reconciliations Organize tasks using Karbon, the practice management system, to effectively manage work across multiple clients Interact with clients to answer specific questions and gather necessary information as required Required qualifications: College degree in accounting or related field; CPA/CAS firm experience is a strong plus Minimum of 2 years of accounting and payroll experience in a multi-client environment with US-based clients Proficiency in cloud accounting technologies and experience with tools such as NetSuite, SAGE, or QBO At least 2 years of experience in accounting and reporting for PE and/or VC funded portfolio companies Advanced analytical skills to interpret large data sets into meaningful financial reports
