Senior Accountant Private Enterprise

Support compilation, review, and audit engagements as a Senior Accountant in DMCL’s Victoria office, preparing financial statements and tax filings.

This full-time role serves diverse private-sector clients across varied industries. You will collaborate with Partners and Senior Managers while contributing to engagement planning, execution, completion, and year-end work. The position also includes client communication, junior staff coaching, and professional development within public practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead key areas of compilation, review, and audit engagements
• Prepare financial statements and corporate, personal, and trust tax filings
• Complete year-end working papers and review engagement files
• Manage client information requests and address questions clearly
• Support, coach, and review junior staff work

Requirements:

• Three or more years of public practice experience
• Experience with private enterprise clients
• CPA designation
• Experience preparing and reviewing compilation and review engagements
• Strong communication skills and collaborative, mentoring approach
