Senior Accountant SAP Implementation

Lead SAP accounting implementation and financial close processes as a Senior Accountant with Echelon Insurance, supporting accurate reporting across Canada.

This Senior Accountant leads month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes while preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses. The position supports regulatory reporting, audit coordination, financial statements, and process automation. It also partners with operational teams and guides accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations
• Lead SAP General Ledger, Payables, and Receivables implementation
• Coordinate internal and external audit support
• Drive process improvements and automate manual processes

Requirements:

• Accounting or business university degree or college diploma
• Three or more years’ similar experience
• Working knowledge of SAP accounting modules
• Experience implementing SAP and mapping business processes
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office knowledge
