Senior Accountant SAP Implementation

Lead SAP accounting implementation and financial close activities as a Senior Accountant with Echelon Insurance across Canada. Apply advanced Excel and accounting expertise.

This Senior Accountant manages month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. The work includes SAP General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable functionality. You will also support reconciliations, regulatory reporting, audits, financial analysis, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP accounting module implementation and cross-functional finance initiatives
• Manage close processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses
• Prepare P&C1 statements, worksheets, filings, and management reports
• Coordinate internal and external audits with supporting documentation
• Drive automation and mentor accountants through best practices

Requirements:

• Accounting or business university degree or college diploma
• Three or more years in a similar role
• Working knowledge of SAP accounting modules is required
• SAP implementation and business process mapping experience
• Advanced Excel, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
