Senior AEM Site Reliability Engineer

Build reliability for Adobe Experience Manager and CDN delivery as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in Toronto, working four days onsite weekly.

This build-then-run role establishes a new reliability practice for a high-traffic public website. You will shape observability, incident management, release controls, resilience, performance engineering, and compliance evidence. The work spans CDN configuration, DNS, certificates, cache invalidation, Core Web Vitals, Git-based delivery, and third-party integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor CDN, edge configuration, DNS, certificates, and integrations
• Build external synthetics and maintain smoke-testing automation
• Lead customer-facing incidents and vendor escalations
• Design release controls, rollback rehearsals, and content publishing evidence
• Define recovery exercises, service objectives, and resilience reporting

Requirements:

• Substantial experience operating high-traffic websites behind enterprise CDNs
• Deep knowledge of caching, invalidation, edge logic, TLS, and DNS
• Experience with WAF tuning, bot management, and web performance
• Experience with observability, SLOs, error budgets, and synthetic monitoring
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and front-end technology
