Senior Aerospace Software Hardware Engineer

Lead aerospace compliance expertise in Toronto or Montreal as a Senior Engineer reviewing airborne software and electronic hardware designs on-site.

This Senior Engineer position supports client technical and regulatory requirements across airborne software and electronic hardware. You will assess supplier designs, certification plans, test results, and compliance evidence. The work includes FPGA, ASIC, PLD, embedded software, and aerospace engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review supplier airborne software and electronic hardware designs
• Assess certification plans against technical and regulatory requirements
• Perform supplier technical and process audits
• Lead resolution of safety and compliance deficiencies
• Prepare and review design compliance reports

Requirements:

• University engineering degree in electronics, software, aerospace, or equivalent
• Minimum fifteen years technical engineering experience
• Minimum ten years aeronautics experience
• Minimum five years FPGA, ASIC, or embedded software experience
• Knowledge of DO-178B/C, DO-254, DO-330, and related guidance
