Senior Agentic AI Engineer

Design production-ready agentic AI with Python, Azure, and LLM orchestration remotely within Canada. Build secure systems from concept through delivery.

VStream Labs Inc. seeks a hands-on AI Engineer focused on agentic AI applications. You will apply LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, memory, reasoning, and prompt engineering. The work also spans backend services, REST APIs, microservices, knowledge graphs, and AI evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy agentic AI solutions using LLMs and RAG
• Build REST APIs and microservices with Python, Node.js, and JVM
• Develop knowledge graphs, GraphRAG, and entity relationship models
• Operate Azure services including OpenAI, App Service, and Key Vault
• Evaluate hallucinations, safety concerns, grounding, and model performance

Requirements:

• Eight or more years in AI/ML, data science, or software engineering
• Strong Python, Node.js, REST API, and microservices experience
• Expertise with LLMs, RAG, memory, reasoning, and prompt engineering
• Experience with Azure services and AI platforms
• Knowledge of evaluation metrics, validation, governance, and secure architecture
