Senior Agentic Systems Engineer

Build agentic AI systems with Python or TypeScript at CareLink by Asepha in Toronto, working in a hybrid engineering environment.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will shape engineering efforts through architectural decisions and full-stack contributions. The work spans backend systems, orchestration, APIs, distributed systems, and pharmacy integrations. You will help expand CareLink’s AI product line while balancing execution speed with product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design autonomous agents for complex pharmaceutical workflows
• Architect communication systems across organizational boundaries
• Build orchestration layers with failure handling
• Develop agent frameworks integrating pharmacy systems and APIs
• Implement production evaluation and observability infrastructure

Requirements:

• Five or more years of software engineering experience
• Strong backend focus with Python or TypeScript proficiency
• Knowledge of APIs, data stores, concurrency, and distributed systems
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or equivalent frameworks
• Experience deploying agentic AI systems on cloud infrastructure
