Baselane seeks a senior engineer to own features from design through production in its AI-first engineering environment. You will work across frontend and backend while collaborating with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps. The stack includes React, TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver features from requirements through production release
  • Define APIs, data models, and scalable service architecture
  • Use Claude Code and Cursor for development, testing, and debugging
  • Validate implementations through automated testing and code review
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production features

Requirements:

  • Five or more years building production applications
  • Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, React, APIs, and databases
  • Understanding of system design, security, data modeling, and AWS
  • Hands-on experience with AI coding agents
  • Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and troubleshooting
