Senior AI Inference Test Automation Engineer

Build AI inference test automation at Cerebras Systems, using Python or Go across a hybrid schedule in Sunnyvale or Toronto.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will support Release Integration Testing for AI Inference Core. You will develop maintainable automation, validate complex systems, and investigate failures across frameworks, runtime, compiler, kernels, infrastructure, and hardware. Your work supports integration readiness, regression stability, and release qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop automated frameworks, diagnostics, and infrastructure for AI inference software
• Own integration testing and qualification for complex inference-core features
• Execute end-to-end, integration, regression, and system-level tests
• Investigate cross-stack failures and implement regression-prevention tests
• Improve release stability through triage, tooling, and quality metrics

Requirements:

• Professional software engineering or test infrastructure development experience
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or a similar programming language
• Experience designing automated tests for complex software systems
• Strong debugging, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing
