Senior AI Inference Test Engineer

Design Python or Go automation for AI inference systems at Cerebras Systems, working hybrid from Sunnyvale or Toronto. Debug complex cross-stack failures.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will support Release Integration Testing for AI Inference Core. You will validate software across frameworks, runtime, compiler, kernels, infrastructure, distributed systems, and hardware. The work centers on integration readiness, regression stability, and release qualification for complex inference features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop automated frameworks, tools, and infrastructure for inference validation
• Own integration testing and qualification activities independently
• Execute end-to-end, integration, regression, and system tests
• Investigate failures, identify root causes, and prevent regressions
• Improve release stability through diagnostics, metrics, and reporting

Requirements:

• Professional software engineering or test infrastructure experience
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar programming language
• Experience developing maintainable automated testing frameworks
• Strong debugging skills across multiple system components
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing workflows
