Senior AI Infrastructure Engineer

Design scalable AI infrastructure with Python and Kubernetes from Canada, working remotely first and visiting Montreal two to three times quarterly. Build reliable platforms for large-scale model serving.

As a founding Senior AI Infrastructure Engineer, you will report to the Chief Technology Officer. You will combine software engineering with systems expertise across public cloud and on-premises environments. Your work supports high concurrency, performance, security, and service quality for AI workloads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design multi-cloud and on-premises infrastructure
• Orchestrate deployments with infrastructure-as-code and containers
• Benchmark inference workloads and optimize hardware utilization
• Maintain monitoring systems for reliability
• Integrate optimization solutions within customer infrastructure

Requirements:

• Five or more years in AI infrastructure or systems engineering
• Proficiency in Python and scalable APIs
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, and Terraform
• Production experience shipping LLM serving systems
• Experience with Ray, RayClusters, or KubeRay
