Senior AI Platform Software Developer

Architect scalable AI research platforms at Xanadu using Python, Rust, AWS, and distributed systems expertise. This senior role is hands-on and product-minded.

As a Senior Software Developer on Xanadu’s AI team, you will set the technical direction for an internal research platform. You will architect systems, write and review code, solve complex technical problems, and guide automation development. Your users include researchers, experimentalists, and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own architecture for the agentic AI research system
• Define scope, review designs, mentor engineers, and unblock delivery
• Translate research needs into adopted internal products
• Build scalable pipelines for documents and research tasks
• Develop SDKs, APIs, visualizations, testing, and monitoring

Requirements:

• BSc in a related technical field
• Seven or more years building production software systems
• Technical leadership across architecture, delivery, review, and mentorship
• Experience scaling distributed production services on AWS
• Proficiency with Python, Rust, Postgres, Docker, Terraform, and AWS

Lead AI platform architecture and automation using scalable systems, developer tools, and strong software engineering practices at Xanadu.
