Senior AI Product Data Scientist

Shape Asana’s AI growth strategy in Vancouver using experimentation and machine learning. This office-centric hybrid role focuses on LLM-driven software discovery.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will support Asana’s AI organization and agentic work management products. You will apply data analysis, causal inference, statistical methods, and data storytelling to understand customers and guide product decisions. The role partners with Product Managers, User Researchers, and Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define user segments and engagement levers for agentic products
• Lead data strategy for specific Asana AI features
• Identify roadmap opportunities through analysis and storytelling
• Design experiments and own key performance metrics
• Share data science best practices across teams

Requirements:

• Four to six years of data science experience
• Growth experience, primarily within B2B SaaS companies
• Experience with AI/ML products, LLM APIs, or integrations
• Fluency in experimentation, A/B testing, and pipeline management
• Expertise in SQL, relational modeling, and R, Python, or Scala
