Senior AI Product Software Engineer

Direct AI coding agents to build full-stack applications at Remitly, working onsite Tuesday through Thursday under the company’s hybrid expectations.

As a Senior AI Native Software Engineer, you solve customer problems by orchestrating AI agents instead of writing code directly. Build products end-to-end across frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure. Your work spans automation, product development, analytics, and secure delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build applications, workflow automations, and basic agents
• Translate customer needs into specifications and deployed solutions
• Instrument products and iterate using usage and outcome data
• Evaluate AI output for security, privacy, reliability, and quality
• Document prompts, approaches, and reusable team patterns

Requirements:

• Proficiency with AI coding agents
• Ability to write and refine effective prompts
• Understanding of full-stack applications and infrastructure
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, queues, and web architectures
• Ability to interpret usage, conversion, and error metrics
