Senior AI Software Engineer

Build AI agents and full stack applications at BCI in Victoria or Vancouver, using advanced Python and SQL for Private Equity.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will deliver production applications, automated workflows, data pipelines, and analytical models. You will partner with Private Equity Finance, Operations, Deal teams, directors, and executives. The work includes Databricks, Azure, LLM-powered applications, and business-focused solution design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define problems and requirements with Private Equity stakeholders
• Design full stack applications, APIs, integrations, and architectures
• Build agentic workflows for investment documents and fund administration files
• Own scoping, testing, deployment, production release, and ongoing support
• Develop validated pipelines for reporting, valuations, and audit review

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum six years of related experience delivering production applications
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with LLM applications, RAG, MCP, and tool-calling architectures
• Hands-on Databricks, Azure, data engineering, and CI/CD experience
