Senior AI Software Engineer

Build production AI features as a Senior AI Software Engineer at Safe Fleet, using LLMs, machine learning, and backend APIs. Help make fleet vehicles safer through scalable technology.

This hands-on senior engineering role delivers AI-powered capabilities across Safe Fleet’s product portfolio. You will apply generative AI, deep learning, computer vision, and workflow orchestration to product challenges. The position also uses AI-Native Engineering, coding agents, Spec-Driven Development, and automation to support quality and secure delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy scalable, secure AI features
• Build backend services and APIs for AI capabilities
• Apply LLMs, RAG, agents, and machine learning
• Implement AI evaluation, monitoring, and optimization
• Collaborate on architecture, reviews, and technical decisions

Requirements:

• Six or more years of software engineering experience
• Production experience developing and deploying AI applications
• Strong knowledge of LLMs, RAG, and AI agents
• Backend, API, and cloud development experience
• Experience with AI coding agents and Spec-Driven Development
