Senior AI Tooling Software Engineer

Build AI tooling for Waabi’s autonomous transportation systems using Python, agents, and production software engineering. Work with teams across Waabi’s offices and functions. As a Senior Software Engineer on Waabi’s AI Technical Strike Team, you will build tools, agents, and workflows that improve productivity. Your work will support autonomy code, simulation environments, ML training pipelines, research workflows, and business functions. You will also evaluate emerging AI tools and frameworks. Key Responsibilities:
Design and ship internal tooling, agents, and AI workflows Integrate Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, and similar tools Evaluate models, tools, and agent frameworks through structured pilots Partner with teams to prototype and iterate solutions Track AI tooling usage, adoption, cost, and quality Requirements:
Five-plus years of software engineering experience Experience shipping tools used by large user bases Hands-on AI coding tools and agent experience Production experience with AI products, workflows, or LLMs Strong Python and modern build system proficiency Apply senior software engineering judgment to AI agents, developer infrastructure, and productivity tooling at Waabi.
