Kennedy Bond is partnering with a leading global biopharmaceutical company to recruit a Senior AI/ML Engineer within its Vaccine R&D organization.

This individual will play a key role in developing and implementing an AI-ready scientific data ecosystem, enabling advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and AI-driven vaccine research.

The position combines technical expertise with strategic leadership, offering the opportunity to influence how AI is applied across multidisciplinary research programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of AI/ML and scientific data initiatives across Vaccine R&D.
• Integrate complex biological datasets, including omics, immunological assays, sequencing, and imaging, into scalable AI-ready infrastructure.
• Develop and implement AI/ML workflows, predictive models, and advanced analytical capabilities.
• Collaborate with scientific and technical leaders to translate research needs into practical AI solutions.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders, and mentor technical colleagues.

Ideal Background

• PhD in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
• Strong AI/ML expertise with experience working with complex scientific or biological datasets.
• Experience with scientific data engineering, integration, architecture, or AI/ML platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives from strategy through implementation.
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across multidisciplinary research teams.
• Biotech or pharmaceutical experience preferred; vaccine-specific experience is not required.
