Overview

In this role you design, develop, and maintain enterprise AWS-based contact center solutions. You will build scalable APIs, optimize DynamoDB schemas, and implement Python AWS Lambda functions, while coordinating with cross-functional teams and Amazon Professional Services. You’ll shape secure, high-performance cloud architectures and drive integration across AWS services. Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for frontend and enterprise integrations
  • Design and optimize DynamoDB schemas, indexes, and data access patterns
  • Develop Python-based AWS Lambda functions for business logic and automation
  • Modify and maintain Amazon Connect contact flows and routing logic
  • Collaborate with UI teams to translate requirements into backend services
  • Work with Amazon Professional Services on Connect implementations
  • Design and support event-driven architectures using AWS services (Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, API Gateway)
  • Support and optimize data flows across AWS and integrated systems
  • Implement secure, scalable cloud-native solutions
  • Troubleshoot issues across AWS environments and ensure reliable service delivery
  • Participate in production support and occasional after-hours deployments
Key requirements
  • 8+ years of hands-on AWS experience
  • 4+ years with Amazon Connect including contact flows, routing, queues, and integrations
  • Strong Python proficiency and Lambda development
  • Experience with AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch
  • Extensive experience designing RESTful APIs and backend integrations
  • DynamoDB schema design, indexing, and performance optimization
  • Experience with cloud-native and event-driven architectures
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and deployment automation
  • Strong communication and cross-team collaboration
  • Experience working in Agile environments
