Senior Analyst, IT Risk Analytics & Reporting (Global Security)

Role overview

Support enterprise technology risk metrics and reporting through data analysis, SQL, data modeling, and collaboration with business, technology, data, and risk stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and govern technology risk metrics, KPIs, KRIs, and reporting.
• Design and validate data models; write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data.
• Explore data, reconcile discrepancies across systems, troubleshoot data quality issues, and identify root causes.
• Assess metric methodologies, business rules, changes, and reporting implications; manage the metric lifecycle with data owners.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, calculation logic, and development-ready requirements.
• Validate data against business requirements and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Create Confluence-based visualizations and leadership reporting assets, and maintain reporting infrastructure.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with SQL, data modeling, or data analytics, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Advanced SQL skills, relational database knowledge, and experience troubleshooting data quality issues and reconciling data across systems.
• Experience with conceptual and logical data modeling and relational or non-relational schemas.
• MongoDB, risk management or governance, Python or automation scripting, machine learning or AI, and Tableau experience are assets.
