An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to join a growing organisation that places data at the heart of business decision-making.
The Role:
As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will lead the delivery of analytics and data solutions across a range of business initiatives. Working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders, you will design data models, build transformation frameworks, develop reporting solutions, and ensure data is trusted, accessible, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver scalable analytics and data engineering solutions.
- Develop data models, transformation pipelines, and semantic layers.
- Translate business requirements into robust, scalable data solutions.
- Lead technical workshops and stakeholder discussions.
- Drive data quality, testing, documentation, and governance standards.
- Identify and proactively manage project risks and blockers.
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to the wider data function.
About You:
- Strong experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, BI, or similar roles.
- Advanced SQL and data modelling capabilities.
- Experience with cloud data platforms and data warehousing technologies.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks and analytics engineering best practices.
- Experience with source control, CI/CD, and modern development practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable:
- Google Cloud, BigQuery, dbt, Looker, or similar modern data stack technologies.
- Cloud or analytics certifications.
- Experience in fast-paced, project-driven environments.
