Senior Analytics Engineer

In this Analytics Engineer role, you lead delivery across multiple data and analytics workstreams and shape the strategy with engineering leadership. You design and scale analytics solutions using SQL, DBT, and Python, ensuring reliability and performance. You act as a technical expert, promoting best practices and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver trusted data products and insights. You own complex data incidents and mentor engineers, enabling teams to grow and deliver independently. • Lead delivery across multiple data/analytics workstreams and shape roadmap
• Design, build and maintain scalable analytics solutions with SQL, DBT and Python
• Set and promote best practices in data modelling, testing, CI/CD, documentation, and operational excellence
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Technology and Data Platform teams to deliver data products and insights
• Own complex data incidents from detection to root cause analysis and prevention
• Mentor and develop engineers, unblock teams, and foster independent delivery

• Advanced SQL expertise with hands-on DBT experience
• Strong Python or scripting experience for automation and scalable data solutions
• Proven track record delivering complex analytics, reporting and BI solutions
• Solid understanding of data modelling, testing, performance optimization, data quality and reliability engineering
• Experience leading multiple workstreams and broader function impact
• Mentoring and coaching experience to raise engineering standards
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automation and cloud-based data platforms
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Interest in AI-enabled tooling and responsible adoption of new technologies
