Senior API Platform Solutions Design Engineer

Lead the design, development, deployment and rollout of enhancements on the API Platform

Consult with business delivery teams

Mentor and coach team members

Create and maintain technical documentation for the CDC solution

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related area

8+ years experience with programming in Java

Work experience in DevOps, Kubernetes and AWS Cloud

Understanding of APIs, Event Driven Solutions, DevOps, containers, Kubernetes and cloud

Knowledge of REST API design standards

Previous experience with programming in Python and/or JavaScript is nice to have

Knowledge of CI/CD solutions (like Jenkins, Groovy, CDD Continuous Delivery Director)

Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in API Platform design and development, with a strong focus on DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and technical documentation. Proven ability to mentor team members and collaborate effectively with business delivery teams.
