Senior API Testing QA Specialist

Lead SOAP and ReST API testing for Ontario Business Registry systems, using manual and automated methods across back-end integrations. Work on API gateway rollout testing.

This senior Systems Testing and QA Specialist supports the Ontario Business Registry application. The work covers API connectivity, regression, functional, and web service testing. You will use ReadyAPI, SoapUI, Postman, Groovy scripting, and related techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and document manual API test cases
• Execute automated connectivity and regression testing
• Test new ReST-based OBR web services
• Provide API configuration and functionality expertise
• Guide Ministry partners through integration testing

Requirements:

• Five to ten years testing SOAP and ReST APIs
• Experience with ReadyAPI, SoapUI, and Postman
• Experience with schema validation and parameter passing
• Groovy scripting and automated test maintenance experience
• Testing experience in n-tier Java EE environments
