Senior Application Architect

In this role, you will design and govern the overall architecture for on-premises and cloud-based applications, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless Oracle EBS integration. You will partner with the Custom Software Solutions team, DBAs, and business SMEs to turn requirements into robust technical solutions while guiding projects to successful implementation. The initial focus is optimizing workflows between project managers and project accountants and integrating multiple data stores and systems. You will shape modern, secure, and high-performing software across the enterprise, driving continuous improvement and technology adoption.

• Design and document enterprise application architecture for mixed environments (on-premises and cloud) with integration to Oracle EBS
• Lead cloud-enabled architecture and migrations, ensuring security, compliance, and performance
• Act as Oracle EBS SME, guiding integrations, customizations, and data exchanges
• Provide technical leadership across SDLC, including architecture reviews, mentoring, and design pattern enforcement
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable architectural solutions; participate in workshops and vendor engagements
• Plan architecture-driven IT projects, estimate resources, and oversee documentation and governance
• Drive continuous improvement through exploring new technologies (Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud) and defining internal standards

• 8+ years in software engineering/architecture with complex systems experience
• Proven Oracle EBS experience in architectural or senior development roles, including upgrades or implementations
• Hands-on cloud experience with Oracle Cloud and/or Azure; multi-tier, microservices and event-driven patterns
• DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Agile practices; experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD; automation tools
• Strong systems integration skills (REST, SOAP, APIs, middleware, ESB tools)
• Proficiency in programming/scripting (Python, Java, C#) and Oracle DB/PL/SQL; Linux familiarity
• Experience with architecture modeling tools (Visio, Draw.io, Lucidchart) and UML; knowledge of TOGAF or similar is a plus
