Senior Application Operations Specialist

Lead Java application operations at Interac, using observability and incident response expertise to protect availability, resilience, and rapid service recovery.

As a Senior AppOps Specialist, you will support large-scale Java and JEE applications across complex production environments. You will work with Product, Development, DevSecOps, Security, and incident-management teams. The work includes application monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, and reliability improvement for digital payment services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end ownership and 24/7 production support
• Respond to alerts and lead technical investigation calls
• Diagnose application, infrastructure, database, and network issues
• Lead root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews
• Improve observability, automation, and service-management workflows

Requirements:

• Five-plus years in Java development and application support
• Three years supporting Java or JEE applications
• Expertise in Core Java, REST, Spring, and Apache
• Experience with AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, and ELK
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call support
