Overview

As ITG Senior Applications Engineer, you lead the design and deployment of enterprise-wide systems and act as a backup for Matrix Teams. You translate business needs into robust technical solutions while aligning architecture with customer requirements. You’ll manage day-to-day operations of the global application infrastructure, ensure SDLC compliance, and participate in budget and service desk activities. This role blends technical leadership with hands-on support in a collaborative, growth‑oriented IT group. You’ll contribute to a strategic IT service portfolio that drives business value.

Responsibilities

  • Conceive, design, and oversee enterprise-wide systems development
  • Research and recommend software products to address business requirements
  • Ensure business and technical architecture align with customer requirements
  • Sustain day-to-day operations of the global enterprise application infrastructure
  • Manage incident reporting, Change Management, and NOC operations
  • Comply with SDLC standards in solution development
  • Analyze performance data to ensure optimal software usage
  • Assist with budget development and management for applications development
  • Resolve outstanding Service Desk issues and support IT staff
  • Perform occasional physical moves of equipment or furniture
  • Provide on-call support 24x7
  • Exercise latitude and independence in assignments

Key requirements
  • Post-graduate application or software development support experience
  • SQL or scripting experience for database maintenance, reporting, and development
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Windows operating system
  • Strong experience with Active Directory
  • Experience with Azure
  • Ability to travel to clients and FTI offices as needed
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (no sponsorship)
