Overview

In this role you will design, build, and maintain web applications for a fintech client serving wealth management professionals. You will work within an agile team on greenfield projects and contribute to usability and testing of new and existing sites. There is scope to grow into team leadership roles as the company expands. You’ll operate in a fast-paced environment that values innovation and practical tech solutions. This is a chance to shape high-profile financial software at a small, dynamic firm with strong client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Produce, modify and maintain websites and web applications
  • Drive development, usability and testing of new and existing websites
  • Engage in greenfield work and iterative delivery in 2-week sprints
  • Collaborate with the Development Team Lead and cross-functional colleagues
  • Support strategic changes and drive innovation through new technologies
  • Prepare for potential progression toward Team Lead or Development Manager
  • Contribute to using best practices and design patterns in an agile setting
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of C# and ASP.NET experience
  • Experience with MVC 4+
  • SQL Server 2008+
  • NHibernate or equivalent ORM
  • Knowledge of design patterns and software engineering practices
  • Agile SCRUM and XP experience (ideally)
  • Financial services domain experience preferred
