Senior Associate - Corporate

In this role you will join Mills & Reeve's Norwich corporate team as Senior Associate to drive a broad mix of corporate work, including M&A, corporate finance and venture capital. You will work with startups, spinouts, and international clients, shaping deals and providing strategic advice. You will manage transactions, mentor junior colleagues, and help grow the practice through business development. This role offers exposure to a national practice, collaborative culture and opportunities to influence client relationships and firm growth.

• Lead and support M&A, VC and other corporate transactions under supervision
• Draft key transaction documents
• Coordinate with junior team members and lawyers from other departments on deals
• Contribute to business development and networking to grow the practice
• Advise clients from startups to international corporates on a range of corporate matters

• 3+ years PQE in a City or leading regional firm
• Commercially minded and technically strong
• Experience managing M&A transactions and building client relationships
• Excellent drafting and communication skills
• Ability to mentor and collaborate with junior colleagues
• Interest in venture capital, investment rounds and tech/Life Sciences sectors advantageous
