Senior Associate - Corporate

In this role you join Mills & Reeve’s Manchester Corporate team to lead high-profile M&A and corporate transactions for a diverse client base, spanning startups, spinouts, investors, and established businesses. You’ll work within a collaborative national practice, handling sophisticated deals with international elements and mentoring junior lawyers. The role offers strong partner support, visibility across offices, and meaningful opportunities to shape client outcomes and business growth. • Lead day-to-day delivery of M&A, private equity and other corporate transactions with support from Partners and Principal Associates
• Draft and negotiate key transaction documents and manage deal progression from start to finish
• Collaborate across teams and offices to deliver seamless client service on complex matters
• Build trusted client relationships and act as a main point of contact throughout transactions
• Support and supervise junior lawyers to develop technical and professional skills
• Actively participate in business development, networking and marketing initiatives
• Contribute to growth of the Manchester Corporate team and national practice

• Qualified solicitor with 4+ years' PQE in national, international or respected regional firm
• Strong experience advising on corporate transactions, particularly M&A
• Ability to manage transactions as lead day-to-day fee earner with senior support
• Private equity experience is advantageous but not essential
• Commercial mindset with excellent client relationship and communication skills
