Senior Associate Software Engineer – C# / .NET / Azure

Hawksworth is recruiting for a talented 'Senior Associate Software Engineer ' to join the Digital Product Team of a leading UK Financial Services organisation undergoing significant technology modernisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands‑on developer who enjoys building modern digital products, working closely with product teams and taking ownership of applications from development through to production.

Hybrid - 1 to 2 Days Onsite Per Week

What we're looking for:

• Strong commercial experience with C# / .NET.


• Full‑stack development experience, including modern frontend frameworks.


• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based applications.


• Essential: Experience working within product‑led development teams, collaborating with Product Managers, Designers and other engineers.


• Good understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD and automated testing.


• An interest in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), observability, automation and production support.


• Strong software engineering principles, including clean code and SOLID.

You'll be joining a collaborative engineering team that follows a "you build it, you run it" philosophy, taking responsibility for developing, deploying and continually improving digital products.

Experience with GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, Terraform or monitoring tools would be advantageous but isn't essential.
