Senior Automation Tester

In this role you lead and contribute hands-on to ensure quality outcomes across SAP systems and integrated apps within DLA Piper’s finance and HR automation landscape. You’ll shape QA strategy, drive automation with a strong focus on SAP ecosystems, and partner with IT, business, and vendors to enable rapid, high-quality change. You’ll mentor teams, promote best practices, and deliver meaningful quality metrics to support business decisions. This is a senior, automation-driven opportunity to influence quality at scale in a global professional services environment.

• Lead end-to-end QA across SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Concur and integrated applications, covering strategy, planning, automation, execution and reporting
• Shape test strategies, standards and best practices to support successful change, releases and business outcomes
• Provide SME leadership on quality engineering tools and frameworks (Tosca, Jira, Xray, qTest), driving adoption across SAP CoE
• Champion an automation-first approach, building and scaling reusable automation frameworks and CI/CD-aligned solutions
• Ensure end-to-end traceability from requirements to test outcomes, delivering quality metrics and risk visibility
• Build strong relationships with business, IT and third-party partners to drive alignment and value delivery
• Drive continuous improvement in quality, automation and delivery maturity through innovation and standardisation
• Coach and upskill QA and non-QA teams in automation, AI-assisted testing and modern quality engineering practices

• 10-12+ years in Quality Engineering, Test Automation and programme delivery in large enterprises
• Proven experience across full QA lifecycle (strategy, planning, automation, execution, release management)
• Strong knowledge of SAP change, transport and release processes
• Extensive experience with test automation and CI/CD in complex SAP environments
• Hands-on expertise with Tosca, Playwright, API automation and other enterprise automation tools
• Experience testing complex end-to-end business processes across SAP and integrated systems
• Strong understanding of integration, interface and API testing in large ecosystems
• Collaborative with IT, business, vendors and partners; excellent stakeholder management and communication
• Agile delivery experience; proficient in Jira/Xray and enterprise test management tools
• Desirable certifications: ISTQB, Test Automation Engineer, Agile or ITIL
