Senior Avionics Qualification & Verification Engineer

We are looking for Senior Avionics Qualification & Verification Engineer for a hybrid role in Montreal, Quebec. This role requires 2 days in office.

Compensation:

CAD 140,000 - CAD 145,000 per year

Experience:

10 - 20+ years only

Must-have skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in avionics verification, qualification, certification, or systems engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience reviewing qualification documentation
  • Experience reviewing Qualification Test Plans (QTP) and Qualification Test Reports (QTR)
  • Hands-on experience on at least one certified aircraft program
  • Prior experience working for an OEM or Tier-1 supplier
  • Practical knowledge of RTCA DO-160, ARP4754A, ARP4761 / ARP4761A, DO-178C awareness, and DO-254 awareness
  • Strong understanding of aircraft development lifecycle and system verification processes
  • Experience reviewing QTP, QTR, compliance reports, qualification reports, verification procedures, verification reports, test readiness review packages, qualification review packages, and certification data packages
  • Specialized qualification knowledge in EMC / EMI testing, lightning qualification, structural qualification, and thermal qualification
  • Tool experience with IBM DOORS, DOORS Next, Polarion, Jama, Cameo / MagicDraw, Teamcenter, Windchill, JIRA, or configuration management systems
