Lead AWS cloud engineering with Infrastructure as Code, RDS, Aurora, and Linux expertise in complex Public Health technology environments.

This senior engineer designs, builds, and supports cloud environments for Public Health solutions. The work spans AWS resources, Amazon RDS and Aurora databases, Linux administration, and cloud security. It also requires monitoring application performance and maintaining technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision AWS resources with CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK
  • Automate RDS and Aurora creation, backup, restoration, and scaling
  • Monitor cloud application performance and production logs
  • Configure safeguards protecting data integrity and access
  • Develop system designs, integration plans, and technical specifications

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in information technology
  • 5+ years supporting public-sector healthcare providers
  • Experience managing RDS and Aurora production databases
  • Experience with Linux installation, troubleshooting, hardening, and scripting
  • Knowledge of AWS security, networking, encryption, and monitoring
