Senior AWS Data Developer

Build cloud-based data solutions with AWS, Python, and SQL at FCC, with hybrid work options supporting reliable analytics across Canada. This permanent role offers hands-on development focused on data movement, integration, reporting, and decision-making.

As a Senior Data Developer, you will design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and deploy complex solutions using AWS technologies and infrastructure as code. You will interpret business requirements, shape solution design, and maintain efficient system integrations. The role also includes code reviews, mentoring, and communicating technical concepts clearly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop automation, integration, and unit tests
• Build AWS solutions using infrastructure as code
• Design and implement data models and analytics
• Implement code fixes and support user testing
• Explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
• Minimum seven years of software development experience
• Expert proficiency in selected AWS technologies
• Expert proficiency in Python, PySpark, TypeScript, or SQL
• Demonstrated application design and troubleshooting experience
