What you'll be doing:

• Collaborating with Technology Operations, Solution Architects, and Project teams to build AWS infrastructure.
• Assessing and delivering complex changes for various projects.
• Providing mentorship and support to team members for their technical development.
• Performing operational activities such as incident resolution and maintenance.
• Recommending and delivering efficient solutions.
• Maintaining the cybersecurity stance of our IT infrastructure.
• Identifying and implementing areas for automation.
• Acting as a consultant for complex problems and issues.
• Keeping up-to-date with AWS tools and recommending improvements.

About you:

You will be a technically capable AWS Cloud Engineer who thrives in complex enterprise environments. You bring a strong foundation in cloud infrastructure, automation, and operational support, coupled with a genuine passion for continuous improvement and professional development.

With a proven track record of delivering and supporting AWS-based solutions, you are comfortable working across a broad range of technologies and are equally adept at managing day-to-day operational responsibilities as you are contributing to strategic cloud initiatives. You will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to diagnose complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective long-term solutions.

• Proven hands‑on experience designing, implementing, and supporting AWS cloud environments.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (minimum), with Professional-level certifications considered advantageous.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ideally using Terraform.
• Experience supporting both Windows and Linux workloads in AWS environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across cloud, infrastructure, and platform technologies.
• Experience working within large enterprise environments, including exposure to networking, firewalls, Active Directory, and hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Knowledge of AWS security and governance services, including IAM, AWS Config, KMS, and SecOps best practices.
• Understanding of High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and operational resilience within AWS.
• Experience contributing to cloud migration, infrastructure modernisation, or data centre transformation initiatives.
• A proactive, ownership-driven approach with the ability to see issues through to resolution.
