Build reliable AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure as a Senior DevOps Engineer in VXG’s Midtown Toronto office. Automate deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

VXG is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support its video software platform. You will maintain customer environments across AWS, private data centres, and on-premises servers. The work emphasizes Ansible, Terraform, Helm Charts, GitLab CI, Bash, and Python while improving reliability, scalability, security, and observability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automate VXG software installation and deployment across customer infrastructure
  • Install and maintain Kubernetes deployments in private data centres
  • Build scripts that configure, test, and optimize solutions
  • Improve deployment pipelines for reliability and scalability
  • Maintain production deployments, upgrades, monitoring, and observability metrics

Requirements:

  • Strong Ansible, Terraform, Helm Charts, and CloudFormation experience
  • Expertise administering Git and building GitLab CI pipelines
  • Hands-on AWS experience with EC2, AutoScaling, CloudWatch, RDS, and S3
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts
  • Strong Bash and Python scripting skills
