Senior AWS Platform Engineer

As Burq’s Senior Platform Engineer, you will own a significant infrastructure roadmap across AWS services and environments. Your work covers ECS, RDS, ElastiCache, SQS, Step Functions, Terraform, and GitHub Actions. You will also strengthen access controls, observability, and incident practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Separate production, staging, and development AWS accounts
• Lead the Aurora database production migration
• Manage ECS Fargate, RDS, ElastiCache, SQS, and ALB
• Own Terraform infrastructure as code
• Improve GitHub Actions pipelines and developer environments

Requirements:

• 5+ years of engineering experience
• 3+ years in infrastructure or platform engineering
• Deep expertise with AWS services and account architecture
• Proficiency writing Terraform infrastructure as code
• Strong CI/CD and security-minded engineering background
