Senior AWS Serverless Software Engineer contract for a MACH commerce full‑stack platform in the food & beverages sector. You will work within a cross‑functional team to build scalable serverless services and APIs, shaping the platform architecture and driving quality through code reviews and mentoring. • Design and implement API services using Node.js/Express and serverless patterns
• Develop and integrate AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, AppSync, SNS, SQS, EventBridge)
• Support data models with NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB) and API management
• Perform code reviews, review PRs, and mentor junior developers
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose technical solutions
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and deployment practices
• Support serverless architecture decisions and event-driven design
• Assist in requirements analysis and agile ceremonies
• Maintain clear documentation in Jira/Confluence and communicate progress to the team
• Participate in full software development lifecycle in a fast‑moving e‑commerce project

• 5–10 years of software development experience
• Deep knowledge of AWS Serverless architecture
• Proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, AppSync, SNS, SQS, EventBridge
• Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs
• CMS experience (Drupal preferred)
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript scripting skills
• Proven API service development using Node.js/Express
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
