Senior Azure Applications Developer

Build Azure-based applications and microservices as a Senior Applications Developer with Sobeys, based in Stellarton, Mississauga, or Calgary.

This full-time senior position focuses on cloud-native development, integrations, and reliable software delivery. You will use Node.js, C#, .NET Framework, REST APIs, and Azure services. The work supports platform functionality through scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and enhance Azure-based applications and microservices
• Build integrations with third-party systems and APIs
• Conduct design and code reviews against team standards
• Create unit test plans with detailed test cases
• Optimize Azure resources for scalability, performance, and cost

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Five-plus years of Azure application development experience
• Proficiency in Node.js, C#, and .NET Framework
• Experience with secure REST APIs, JWT, and OAuth
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and Cosmos DB
