Senior Azure AWS Cloud Architect

Design Azure and AWS cloud solutions as a Senior Technology Architect, combining infrastructure automation, security, and migration expertise for cloud delivery.

This senior architect enhances the core EPPDS Solution and Build team through requirements gathering, assessments, and cloud-aligned solution design. The work includes building application resources, supporting cluster migrations, and serving as a subject matter expert. Strong scripting, automation, and cloud architecture skills support Government of Ontario cloud initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements and conduct comprehensive infrastructure and application assessments
• Design secure Azure and AWS cloud solutions
• Write and maintain provisioning code and delivery pipelines
• Create IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS technology patterns
• Support complex migrations from on-premise environments

Requirements:

• Proficiency designing and implementing Azure and AWS cloud solutions
• Ability to develop comprehensive cloud migration plans
• Effective coding and scripting ability
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools
• Understanding of cloud networking, security, and compliance
