Senior Azure Databricks Data Engineer

Azure Databricks and PySpark define this Senior Data Engineer role at Wipro. Build and optimize enterprise data pipelines using SQL and Azure services.

With 3–5 years of experience, you will develop ETL and ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory. The work includes integrating SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and enterprise applications. You will support scalable data platforms, modernization initiatives, data governance, security, compliance, and production reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and orchestrate ETL and ELT data pipelines
• Integrate data from SQL Server and Azure SQL Database
• Apply Medallion Architecture across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers
• Optimize Delta Lake and tune Spark performance
• Perform production support and root cause analysis

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and PySpark
• Strong SQL skills for data engineering development
• Experience designing scalable enterprise data platforms
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and CI/CD practices
• Three to five years of experience in data engineering
