As part of Sobeys’ Data Integration Hub within Integration and COEs, you will enhance and maintain DIH for major program deliverables. The role translates data requirements into designs and implementations while working with business SMEs, architects, and technical leads. It includes mentorship and leadership advising.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Azure Databricks streaming and event driven solutions
• Enhance and maintain DIH for major program deliverables
• Optimize solution performance and costs
• Establish key design decisions with architects and core teams
• Mentor junior engineers and advise leadership

Requirements:

• Five or more years developing with Spark
• Strong Azure Databricks, DLT, and structured streaming knowledge
• Experience building scalable ingestion frameworks and resilient pipelines
• Expertise with Unity Catalog and Azure DevOps CI/CD
• Proven test driven development experience
