Overview

In this role you will lead a large Azure-based project, shaping its direction and making key technical decisions. You will drive infrastructure as code to deliver scalable, secure cloud solutions and enhance a complex AKS-driven container platform. You’ll mentor junior engineers and foster continuous improvement within a collaborative, cross-functional team. The position offers flexible hours and a central London office with periodic in-person sessions to promote strong alignment and engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Own and steer a large-scale Azure project
  • Make technical decisions on tools and approach to meet project needs
  • Drive infrastructure as code within Azure for consistency and automation
  • Enhance scalability via a complex containerised system with heavy AKS usage
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of scalable, secure cloud solutions
