Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Lead Azure DevOps engineering in Calgary with Kubernetes and release coordination experience supporting a major Canadian airline’s digital systems. This six-month contract may convert to permanent.

Raise is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer for an expanding technology team. The role supports executive DevOps initiatives, roadmap goals for 2026 and 2027, PCI compliance work, and guest-facing systems. You will build CI/CD pipelines, manage Terraform infrastructure, and strengthen production reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for applications and APIs
• Develop Terraform infrastructure for cloud, networking, and security controls
• Automate deployments, incident response, provisioning, and recovery procedures
• Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and distributed tracing
• Coordinate releases, change management, and 24x7 production support

Requirements:

• 10+ years of enterprise DevOps engineering experience
• Production Kubernetes and Docker experience, preferably with AKS
• Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Azure cloud experience
• Linux, networking, Git, and system administration knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
