In this role you will own the backend platform for a health-tech startup, delivering scalable, maintainable backend applications. You will join a small, high-performing team in a fast-paced environment and help shape the architecture for a greenfield project with significant impact. Collaborating closely with cross-functional peers, you will drive modern development practices and mentor junior engineers. Pay / Benefits
  • competitive salary up to 90,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Own backend development focused on the core platform
  • Build responsive, maintainable backend applications

Key requirements
  • Strong backend development with JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with AWS and infrastructure as code (ideally CDK)
  • Ability to work across frontend and backend with a focus on architecture
  • Knowledge of modern software development practices
  • Startup or scale-up experience desirable
