Senior Backend Engineer

As a Backend Engineer, you design and build scalable backend services that power customer-focused automotive experiences. You collaborate with Product, Design and Sales to translate business needs into robust architectures and code. You’ll explore new tools and techniques, contribute to Agile processes, and mentor engineering talent. • Hand-on development of highly scalable and maintainable backend services
• Translate complex business needs into robust technical designs and high-level architecture
• Evaluate and propose new tools, frameworks, or techniques
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Sales across functional teams
• Share solutions and ideas through code reviews, design reviews, pair programming, and presentations
• Identify and drive Agile process improvements within the team
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers

• Strong Python backend development skills (any framework)
• Solid understanding of databases, OO design, data structures, distributed systems and SOLID principles
• Analytical problem-solving mindset and a willingness to learn
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to peers and business teams
• Experience working in cross-functional, collaborative environments
