Senior Backend Engineer — Java, Fintech, Stock Options

ARQ is building a next-generation fintech platform in London, seeking a Senior Backend Engineer. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices, collaborating with a world-class team to deliver secure, fast financial services.

You’ll work on greenfield projects and evolve critical systems such as payments and treasury modules, with a focus on clean code, TDD, and CI/CD. The role is hybrid with 3–4 days in-office.
