Senior Backend Python Engineer

We're looking for a

Senior Backend Python Developer

to join a team building

secure, scalable, high-performance platforms for a core banking environment,

candidates who have

hands-on experience building production web applications/platforms with Python as their primary backend language.

What we're looking for:

Strong professional Python backend development

5+ years software development experience

Strong understanding of

transactions, isolation levels, locking & deadlocks

RabbitMQ or similar messaging systems

Docker / containerized applications

Experience owning features

end-to-end

Nice to have:

Banking / Financial Services / FinTech

Payroll integrations

What you'll work on:

Design and build scalable Python backend services

Develop distributed microservices and REST APIs

Design solutions for high-volume transaction processing

Optimize performance and reliability

Participate in architecture and system-design discussions

Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers

Work closely with product, engineering and cross-functional teams
